Instructions


Set up stereo speakers on either side of bed, couch, wherever you plan to sleep.


Place yourself between the speakers.


Set the volume of the music so you can just barely hear ambient sounds (traffic, birds, wind in the trees, whatever).  Note:  If the volume of the music is too high it will not work as effectively.  It should be only high enough to neutralize or soften (but not completely drown out) ambient sounds.


Make yourself comfortable, relax, concentrate on your breathing, or read a dull book.


While music is playing do not attempt to operate heavy machinery or compete in Formula One.


Many who use it often set it to playing while they are making dinner, or just after dinner.  It’s creates a very calming tone to the evening (see testimonials).


For those who wake up at 3:00 a.m. and can't get back to sleep I suggest having the controls of the CD player next to your bed.  Simply reach over and hit the play button.



ALTERNATIVE USES


This product has also been successfully employed by massage therapists, clinical councillors, psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, obstetricians, midwives, mothers giving birth, adults and children suffering from attention deficit disorder.  I recently heard of it being used successfully to get a yowling new puppy to sleep at night.
